Baking Made Easy: Red Velvet Cake

This practical workshop introduces you to the art of baking this fun session is led by an experienced baker and entrepreneur. The workshop will include: How to make cakes using quality ingredients, how to use professional cake / baking equipment, how to market and sell your cakes.

Head Dress

Order your free carnival head dress kit by 7 February and receive your very own craft pack containing feathers, gems and more (To be collected from HYPU office) (You will be asked to leave a £2 deposit which is refundable after you have taken part in the activity)
Then join us on 17 February 2022 1.30pm (BST) for a free Zoom session where we will be showing you how to put the head dress together, plus teaching the significance behind carnival costuming and masquerading in West Indian Culture.

Spanish Made Simple

Learn beginner Spanish while you learn Cuban Rumba songs and rhythms!
Join Carla and have loads of fun while learning beginner Spanish eg: greetings, family members, instruments and lyrics as you enjoy this interactive music workshop. All are welcome. No prior Spanish knowledge needed.
Grab anything you can make noise with: pots, pans, buckets, sticks wooden spoons and learn how to make Cuban beats

This Interactive session will be led by 9 year old DJ the Explorer who has a passion for drawing and has recently launched his YouTube channel
He will take you through how to draw a puppy in a field of flowers in detail
He chose this picture because it`s full of beautiful flowers, the puppy is very cute, He love’s dogs and it looks really fun to draw.
If you love to draw and would like to learn some cool techniques this is the session for you
You will need:
· A blank piece of paper to draw on
· A pencil, Rubber and pencil sharpener (just in case)
· A brown colouring pencil dark and light
· A green colouring pencil dark and light
· A purple colouring pencil dark and light
· A pink colouring pencil
